I’m a Radio Producer with 25 years of experience in producing programmes for the BBC. I specialise in crafted Features, Drama Documentaries and Music programmes and have a particular interest in ways in which music touches, changes and sometimes heals people’s lives. |
Much of my work has centred on music:
- Over
the years I produced 28 editions of Soul Music for BBC Radio 4 such
as Spiegel
im Spiegel.
(See Soul Music page for other editions of my Soul Music programmes)
- I initiated and co-produced The History of Music - a 60 part series presented by James Naughtie.
- I’ve co-produced 20 plus drama documentaries with Peter Leslie Wild about music and the arts.
- My final in-house feature for Radio 4 was Hearing Ragas - Violinist
Professor Paul Robertson's remarkable story of the Indian ragas he
heard from within a coma, and the healing effect that Sir John
Tavener's music had on him in his recovery.

With the closure of BBC production in Birmingham, I’ve taken the opportunity to become a freelance producer staying based in the Midlands.
